Whenever Rohna hits an enemy with a melee or a close attack, she gains 5 temporary hit points plus any temporary hit points normally granted by the power. Character Information Edit

Background Edit

Born on the outskirts of the Talenta plains, Rohna learned to love the wind in her hair and that spirits were all around her from her parents when she was very young. When she was still a child her family was forced to flee to Sharn to avoid the spill over during the last great war. So the tiny goliath grew up on the mean streets of the thriving metropolitan city, where she had to learn to keep an eye out very early on, to be able to avoid the roving bands of humans that hunted for any type of outsider. Nowadays the hurled insults just roll off her back unless someone tries to make their insult a physical one. Background skill: Perception.


Appearance Edit

Rohna is lean and muscular, but utterly tiny for a goliath. Her obsidian black skin and fiery red dreadlocked hair make quite a combination to behold. The clear red crystaline growths that protrude from her rocky flesh, pulsate as her blood can be seen racing underneath them like windows into her very being.


Though she carries a blackened warhammer tied to her saddle, its the massive, fireblackened glaive across her back, that she calls Kordestad, is clearly her weapon of choice. The wickedly curved black blade positively sings with malicious intent, all jagged points and cruel promises of death, and is framed by a pair of heavy rings that swing free from either edge of its base. The long string of pulsating red runes, winding down the center of Kordestad's head almost seem to darkly pulse with a secret knowledge all their own. The haft beneath this exotic blade is nothing short of spectacular either. An octagonal shaft of coal black iron sporting a ring of runes at each end and is solidly wrapped with dragonhide at evenly spaced intervals for grip. Each of these rough handles is also ringed with ruby chips set in a copper band. The butt of this glaive is so heavy that it would work handily as a mace if the rageblood fighter needed to blugeon something into oblivion, if not for a decorative weight to perfectly balance out the weapon's striking head.


She travels through town in sturdy but basic maroon leather clothing, but at the first sign of trouble she becomes encased in a lavish suit of glossy black rimefire plate that seems like an extension of her own basalt hide. From its joints flow mist like warm breath on a cold morning. Rohna now wears an ornate black battle helmet crowned with a single ruby spiral horn that stretches a foot back over her entire head from just above her crystal studded brow line. On close inspection, it looks like there's room for at least two more horns behind the first. Rubies stud the head armor at the brow, cheeks and corners of the jaw, emulating her own crystaline growths. The elongated jaw guard, along with the arc of the horn gives the helm a very hydra-like silhouette. Her cloak is now gone, replaced by a fiendishly crafted gorget that snaps securely around the neck. It is stylized as a roaring mouth, complete with fangs. Her lavish dark boots are also studded with red gems and the raised heel is contoured to stand firmly on both the ground and in stirrups with a jaggedly uncut crystal on the back of each for spurs.


Rohna rides a great wirey black haired dire boar named Olaf that wears a suit of plate barding that matches his riders. His massive yellow tusks are capped with blackened steel that has been ground sharper than most sewing needles, And his beady red eyes glimmer with the berserker's rage that boils in his veins. Whether in the saddle or while walking, when not in battle she carries her giant weapon her main hand as a staff to help her maintain her balance.

Personality Edit

Rohna likes to keep things light when in town. She somehow manages to keep a stoney disposition most of time. When she is in the midst of battle during a mission however, she explodes with a raging fury of a volcano. Her sense of humor can be taken as a bit rough, but she knows when to ease it back. When Rohna first touched the charger's weapon, a fuse was lit in her very soul. The first steps of a new path opened up before her, which made her long time companion Mitra shiver to her very core.

Hooks Edit

During childhood Rohna's father wanted to enlist to aid in the war, but the gaurdians of the gate intercepted him outside the recruitment offices and he hasn't been heard from since.

Kicker Edit

Rohna adventures to gain enough power that she can root out the racist corruption at the heart of the gaurdians of the Gate and remove its head from its shoulders, and find out what happened to her father.

Companions Edit

Rohna has been overseeing the training of a young black griffon, at the Vadalis Stables as a mount that she calls Mitra for several years. People don't seem to mind him in town as griffons are a relatively common sight in the skies over Sharn. In times of need Rohna will place something from a small pouch in the palm of her hand, and then strike the very ground with her weapon. The earth glows hot and red where struck, and liquifies into a pool that a warrior of molten Onyx named Gretta rises from, and serves the rageblood fighter for the rest of the encounter.
